C.E. Solano, D.M.D. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is conveniently located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri on Chipman Road one mile east of Highway 50. Dr. Solano did his specialty training in oral surgery at the University of Texas Science Center at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He moved to the Lee’s Summit area after finishing his training and was a faculty member at the University of Missouri Kansas City and at Truman Medical Center. He practiced in the Red Bridge and Prairie Village area until he opened his private practice in Lee’s Summit in 1992. His first office was located on 3rd Street. In 2002 he decided to expand his office and built an office at 708 NW Commerce Drive (Commerce and Chipman Road).
Dr. Solano is the Director of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Research Medical Center Level I Trauma Center, where he faces many challenges of facial trauma from simple fractures to gunshot wounds to the face. He has continued as a faculty member at Truman Medical Center where he works with doctors in residency to provide a teaching environment. He is on staff at Children’s Mercy Hospital and Lee’s Summit Hospital, as well as, a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Greater Kansas City Oral and Maxillofacial Society. He is a State Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr. Solano is available to help patients with simple tooth pain, impacted wisdom teeth, implants, as well the correction of facial deformities, and trauma cases such as a jaw fracture or gunshot wound to the face which may require a complete reconstruction.
Dr. Solano currently resides in the Lee’s Summit area with his family and is an active member of the community. He enjoys multiple sports including diving, extreme racquetball and golf in his free time. He has also coached many soccer teams including a state championship team.
